Hi there
I’m Kira Bayankina, a Mexico City-based curator and private art advisor with an MA in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York. I serve as Director at Call Me Lola — a live-in gallery and cultural platform that has exhibited over 100 artists.
I lead curatorial projects across the city with a focus on immersive, emotionally resonant experiences — work that dissolves the boundary between viewer and artwork, and brings contemporary art into real, living spaces. Recent projects include Algo Más de Lola, a multisensory installation at Casa Basalta featuring Mexican artists Fernanda Brunet and Sandra Leal with a soundscape by New York-based Iris in the Sky; Intimate Space by Evgenia Berestneva at Casa General, exploring love, memory, and personal mythology through painting and live performance; and Surface, a photography exhibition by Nirvana Nungaray for Vagabundo Nomadic Art Gallery at Patio 77.
